Who We Are: A dynamic group of 8 independent music companies all handling different facets of the music industry.

Our Goal: To create one place for musicians to call home. With The Indie Alliance, bands will have the opportunity to utilize our collective expertise.

We will work together to provide solutions for independent artists, offering the best resources, opportunities and direction available, with each of our companies handling their own areas of expertise within the music industry. This includes:

Digital and Physical Distribution, Publicity and Promotions, Internet CD Sales, Artist Development, Website Design and Hosting, E-mail list Management, Seminars for Musicians, Booking, Networking, and Marketing.

We are committed to work as a team to insure that our artists are offered the best services that are available, and that they will be given the best direction possible in building their independent careers.

The eight companies in the Indie Alliance have been individually branding themselves in the music industry and new media . Banding together as Indie Alliance, we can offer comprehensive solutions for emerging artists.

The Indie Alliance members sought each other out in the quest for like minded individuals to help develop independent music and discovered one major thread: We are all passionate about the music that we represent, we all operate with integrity, and we are all in this for the love of music. Working together was a logical step for these companies as they expand their services to meet the increasing needs of independent musicians. We will all be on hand at The Philadelphia Music Conference (PMC) and we welcome all badge holders to join us for drinks and a very special showcase.

Ariel Publicity, Artist Relations and Cyber Promotions is an in the trenches, grass roots PR firm with our ears to the ground. We know what it takes to make bands stand out in today's over saturated world of music. We have had the honor to work with bands of all shapes, sizes and genres both signed (to majors and independents) and unsigned (one guy, a Chevy Nova and a guitar) We are nurturing, assertive and attentive to the most minute details. We are currently representing over 20 bands in some capacity and our roster is constantly in a state of flux as bands put out new releases and go on and off of the road.

A Simple Uncluttered store (with no ads) where you can hear and buy independent Cds.
CD Baby is a record store, selling independent CDs through our website. Musicians send their CDs to us. We sell them to anyone with a credit card, anywhere in the world. No we don't do custom-compilations, or selling MP3 downloads. It's just a good ol' fashioned record store, really. We ship the CDs from our warehouse in Woodstock, New York, the same day the customer orders. Most CDs arrive 2-3 days after they're ordered. (4-5 days if International.) Most of the money from the sale goes directly to the musician, and we write checks every week.

The Indie Music Forum is labor of love - my love and enthusiasm for the independent side of the music industry!
