INDIEGRRL (http://www.Indiegrrl.com) is a forum for information, networking and conversation about independent music from a female perspective. Holly Figueroa formed Indiegrrl in May of 1998 as Internet discussion forum in an effort to bring together independent women musicians of all genres. Indiegrrl has grown to become much more than that. With Indiegrrl compilation CDs and the formation of Indiegrrl Records (with an exclusive distribution through CD Baby), an East Coast and Midwest tour in 1999, showcases at the 2000 Folk Alliance conference, the Oxygen Media's National Tank Tour, and the Indiegrrl Expofest 2000 in New York City, Indiegrrl continues to make its presence known throughout the country.

THE NEW SONG CULTURAL CENTER/NEW SONG FOLK CLUB (recognized as a non-profit organization, under the umbrella of The N. American Folk and Dance Alliance) is located at 1047 Front Street in South Weymouth, Ma. in the Fore River Grange Building. We are renovating the building to create an atmosphere that will welcome artists, poets, dancers, musicians and other groups that are willing to be a part of the "Community Arts Spirit". THE FOLK CLUB is a private listening room funded by and designed for its members, friends and potential members. The Folk Club and Cultural Center is used primarily for Club Members and our events. Events that are open to the public are designed to "promote" membership. All events are run by Club members and approved by the president. All events must fit into the philosophy of being a benefit to both the Club and its philosophy and the community. Our goal is to foster and promote TRADITIONAL AND ORIGINAL Folk Music, Dance and culture through education, networking, and community involvement. N.S.F.C. has be active in doing just this for the past 3 years.
