INDIEGRRL FALL TOUR '99 EXPANDS TO HIT MORE THAN 25 CITIES THROUGHOUT THE MIDWEST AND SOUTH

On the heels of a brilliantly successful summer East Coast tour, the Indiegrrl Fall Tour '99 will kick off in Pittsburgh, PA on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999. The tour will extend to include Cleveland, Chicago, Lexington, KY and Nashville, TN, finally winding up at The Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis, MN on Oct. 27, 1999.

Grammy nominated blues artist Kate Hart, NYC's soulful songtress Leah-Carla Gordone, Lilith Fair finalist Audrey Becker and Kentucky's Celtic influenced rock duo, Wishing Chair will join forces with 30 other hand-picked artists on The Indiegrrl Fall Tour '99.

Indiegrrl, founded in 1998 by Seattle musician Holly Figueroa, has no genre limitations. Punk bands, rock artists, pop singers and traditionalists from four nations have all contributed to Indiegrrl's phenomenal creative energy. In a year, Indiegrrl has grown from a simple Internet mailing list to an international organization with over 300 members. Its consistent vision and cooperative nature have resulted in a series of initiatives, including:
